CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 8 balls (1 oz. balls) of White make the set.
A set of 4 double-pointed steel knitting needles No. 12 for Gloves.
Bone Crochet Hook No. 8 for Hat.
26 inches of millinery wire.

GAUGE: 7 sts make 1 inch; 9 rnds make 1 inch.

CUFF. 1st rnd: Attach a double strand of yarn to 1 st on wrist edge and make sc closely together all around. Join. 2nd rnd: Ch 3, 2 dc in same place as sl st, holding back the last loop of each dc on hook, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook. Ch 1, * skip 2 sc, 3 dc in next sc, holding back the last loop of each dc on hook. Yarn over and draw through all loops on hook (cluster). Ch 1. Repeat from * around. Join last ch-1 to tip of 1st cluster. 3rd, 4th and 5th rnds: Sl st in next sp, ch 3 and complete cluster in same sp, * ch 1, cluster in next ch-1 sp. Repeat from * around. Join. Break off after the 5th rnd. Work other glove to correspond.
