1st row: K across row. 2nd row: P across row. Begin lace design. 1st row: (Lace). K 2, * n, k 3, o, k 1, o, k 3, s and b. Repeat from *, ending with k 2. (48 sts on needle.) 2nd row and all even rows: P. 3rd row: K 2, * n, k 2, o, k 3, o, k 2, s and b. Repeat from *, ending with k 2. (48 sts.) 5th row: K 2, * n, k 1, o, k 5, o, k 1, s and b. Repeat from *, ending with k 2. (48 sts.) 7th row: K 2, * n, o, k 7, o, s and b. Repeat from *, ending with k 2. (48 sts.) 9th row: K 1, n, * o, k 4, n, k 3, o, s and b.
