Work in ribbing, increase 1 stitch at each side of the work every one inch until you have 58 (60) sts on the needle. Work even until the sleeve measures 11½ (13) inches in all, or as long as you need up to the underarm. UNDERARM AND CAP SHAPING: Bind off 4 (4) sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows, (once at each side). Decrease 1 stitch at each side of the work every other row until 30 (30) sts remain. Bind off 2 sts at the beginning of the next 6 (6) rows. Bind off all sts. MAKE THE OTHER SLEEVE THE SAME WAY.

FINISHING: Front Neck Band: With the #3 needles and with the right side of the work facing you pick up and knit 70 sts; work in ribbing for the same amount as the back. Bind off loosely. Sew shoulder, side seams. Sew sleeve seams and sew sleeves into the armhole, matching the underarm seams and easing in any fullness towards the top.
