MATERIALS: NOMOTTA Mothproof Sports Yarn, or NOMOTTA Mothproof Holiday, 7 one ounce balls.

KNITTING NEEDLES: One pair of Size 6 (standard)

GAUGE: 5 sts—1 inch

PATTERN STITCH:
Row 1: K5, K2 tog, * yo, K1, yo, sl 1, K1, psso, K1, K2 tog, repeat from * across the row and end yo, K1, yo, K2 tog, K5.
Row 2 and all even rows: K3, purl across and end K3.
Row 3: K4, K2 tog, * yo, K3, yo, sl 1, K2 tog, psso, repeat from * across the row and end yo, K3, yo, K2 tog, K4.
Row 5: K4, * K1, yo, sl 1, K1, psso, K1, K2 tog, yo, repeat from * across the row and end K5.
Row 7: K6, * yo, sl 1, K2 tog, psso, yo, K3, repeat from * across the row and end yo, sl 1, K2 tog, psso, yo, K6.
Row 8: K3, purl across and end K3.
Repeat these 8 rows for pattern stitch.
With Size 6 needles, cast on 105 sts. Knit 2 rows. Then work even in pattern stitch until piece measures 64 ins ending with Row 7. Knit 2 rows. Bind off. Block.

FRINGE:
Cut strands of yarn 10 ins long. Using 8 strands, knot fringe across each end.
