Chadwick's Red Heart Sock and Sweater Yarn, 3 Ply, Art. E.255, Shrink and Stretch Resist, 7 skeins (1 oz. pull-out skeins) of Black and 1 skein each of Dark Red, Scarlet, and Yel­low for Sizes 12 and 14; 8 skeins of Black and 2 skeins each of Dark Red, Scarlet, and Yellow for Size 16.
Milwards “Phantom” Aluminum Knitting Pins or Clark's O.N.T. Plastic Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 1 (2½ mm. size) and 1 pair No. 3 (3 mm. size).
Milwards “Phantom” Aluminum Double-pointed Sock Needles, or Clark's O.N.T. Plastic Double-pointed Sock Needles, 1 set No. 1 (2½ mm. size).
Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 2.

GAUGE:

VERTICAL STRIPES … With crochet hook, 2 strands of yarn and using colors indicated by arrows on chart, make a row of chain st in each of the purled rib sts.
Block to measurements. Sew up side and sleeve seams. Sew in sleeves. Darn in ends securely on wrong side.
