1 circular Needle No. 4 OR ANY SIZE NEEDLE WHICH WILL RESULT IN STITCH GAUGE BELOW

4 Buttons
¼ yd ½ inch Snap Tape
GAUGE: For No. 4 needles: 8 sts = 1 inch, 11 rows = 1 inch
BACK: With White and No. 4 straight needles cast on 22 stitches (sts), Knit (K) across row. 2nd ROW: Purl (P) across row. 3rd and 4th ROWS: K across each row increasing 1 st at the beginning and end of each row. (These 4 rows form pattern). 5th ROW: Same as 3rd row. 6th ROW: P across row increasing 1 st at beginning and end of row. Repeat the last 4 rows 5 times (70 sts). 27th ROW: With a separate ball of yarn cast on 18 sts on right hand needle, K across row, cast on 18 sts at end of row. 28th ROW: K across all sts (106 sts). Work even in pattern for 5½ inches ending with 2nd row of pattern. Change to No. 1 needles and work in ribbing of K 1, P 1 for 1½ inches ending on wrong side of work. Change to No. 4 needles and starting with 3rd row of pattern work even in pattern for 2½ inches ending with last row of pattern. NEXT 2 ROWS. Bind off 7 sts at the beginning of each row, drop yarn. Place the 1st 46 sts on a stitch holder. Place the remaining 46 sts on another holder.
FRONT: Work same as Back but place all 92 sts on one holder.
SLEEVES: (Work 2) With White and No. 1 needles cast on 66 sts and work in ribbing of K 1, P 1 for one inch. Change to No. 4 needles and work in pattern for 2 inches ending with last row of pattern. NEXT 2 ROWS: Bind off 7 sts at the beginning of each row. Place sts on holders. Place a marker at center of Back. On circular needle pick up sts from holders as follows: starting at marker pick up 45 sts for half of back, place a marker, pick up last st of same half of back, place a marker, pick up all sts of one sleeve, place a marker, pick up 1 st of front, place a marker, pick up the remaining sts of front to within last st, place a marker, pick up last st, place a marker, pick up all sts of other sleeve, place a marker, pick up 1 st of other half of back, place a marker, pick up remaining sts of back. (Work back and forth on circular needle).
START RAGLAN: 1st ROW: K across sts of back to within 2 sts of 1st marker, K 2 together (tog), K 1, slip 1, K 1, pass sl st over K st (p.s.s.o.), K across sts of sleeve to within 2 sts of next marker, K 2 tog, sl 1, K 1, p.s.s.o., K across sts of front to within 2 sts of next marker, K 2 tog, K 1, sl 1, K 1, p.s.s.o., K across sts of sleeve to within 2 sts of next marker, K 2 tog, K 1, sl 1, K 1, p.s.s.o., K across remaining sts of back. 2nd ROW: K across row. 3rd ROW: Same as 1st row. 4th ROW: P across row. Repeat the last 4 rows 5 times, drop White. NEXT 2 ROWS: Attach Lt. Blue and work same as 1st and 2nd rows of raglan, drop Lt. Blue. NEXT 2 ROWS: Pick up White and work same as 3rd and 4th rows of raglan. Repeat last 4 rows 4 times, cut Lt. Blue. Change to No. 1 needles and work in ribbing of K 1, P 1 for 8 rows, bind off. With wrong side of work toward you and with White work 55 single crochet (sc) around back neck opening, ch 1, turn. 2nd ROW: 1 sc in each of the 1st 2 sc, * ch 2, skip 2 sc for buttonholes, 1 sc in each of the next 4 sc, repeat from * 3 times, work remainder of row in sc ending with slip stitch (sl st), cut yarn. Sew buttons in position. Sew sleeve and side seams. With White and No. 1 needles pick up 116 sts around leg opening. Work in ribbing for 10 rows, bind off. Work other leg opening in same manner. Sew snap tape in position at crotch.
