1 Pr. Standard Knitting Needles No. 2
Jack Frost Baby Yarn—3 1-oz. Balls or
Jack Frost Fingering Fleece—3 1-oz. Balls

Cast on 76 sts. K 16 rows. Work pattern as follows: Row 1—K. Row 2—P. Row 3—K. Row 4—P. Row 5—K. Row 6—K. Repeat these six rows until piece measures 8 inches. Cast on 40 sts at beginning of next 2 rows for sleeves. Continue in pattern over sleeves and back for 3½ inches. Work over 65 sts. Bind off next 26 sts for back of neck. On remaining 65 sts work for 1 inch. Cast on 18 sts to neck edge, keeping the 1st 6 sts worked in garter st for buttonhole band, remaining sts in pattern. Work 4 rows. Then work 1st buttonhole as follows: Starting at front edge, K 2, bind off next 2 sts, work across. Work back, casting on 2 sts over the bound off sts. Repeat buttonhole every 2 inches. Work 3 inches, bind off 40 sts for sleeve and continue in pattern until piece measures 8 inches, including K 16 rows. Bind off. Work other side to correspond, omitting buttonholes. Pick up 32 sts for cuff. K 12 rows, bind off.
COLLAR: On right side of garment, pick up 64 sts across neck edge. K 28 rows. Bind off. Sew underarm and sleeve seams.
