YOKE … Starting at neck edge with No. 6 needles and White, cast on 31 (34, 37) sts. 1st row (wrong side): P 1—Front; k 1—seam st; p 5 (6, 7)—Sleeve; k 1—seam st; p 15 (16, 17)-Back; k 1- seam st; p 5 (6, 7)—Sleeve; k 1—seam st; p 1—Front. 2nd row: K in front, in back, in front of first st—2 sts increased; p 1; k in front and in back of next st—1 st increased; k 2 (3, 4), inc 1 st in next st as before, k 1; p 1; inc 1 st in next st, p 12 (13, 14), inc 1 st in next st, k 1; p 1; inc 1 st in next st, k 2 (3, 4), inc 1 st in next st, k 1; p 1; inc 2 sts in last st—10 sts increased. There are 41 (44, 47) sts on needle. 3rd row: (P across to next seam st, k 1) 4 times; p to end of row. 4th row: (Inc 1 st in next st, k to within 2 sts of seam st, inc 1 st in next st, k 1; p 1) 4 times; inc 1 st in next st, k to last 2 sts, inc 1 st in next st, k 1. There are 51 (54, 57) sts on needle. Repeat 3rd and 4th rows alternately 2 (3, 4) times more. Repeat 3rd row once. There are 71 (84, 97) sts on needle. Cast on 2 sts.
Next row: Repeat 4th row, omitting increases in first and last sts—8 sts increased instead of 10. Cast on 2 sts. There are 83 (96, 109) sts on needle. Continue in this manner, increasing 8 sts on every knit row, making the increases before and after each seam st, until there are 26 (28, 31) sts on each Front including seam sts, 41, 44, 49 sts on each Sleeve, and 53 (56, 61) sts on Back including seam sts, ending with a p row. Attach Green. Next 2 rows: With Green, k across. Slip sts of both Fronts, Back, and one Sleeve on holders and work over one sleeve as follows:
SLEEVE …1st row:Casting on 3 sts at beg and end of row, k across increasing 1 st on size 6 only. 2nd row: K across these 47 (50, 56) sts. Now, work in pattern as follows: 1st row: With White k 2, * with yarn in back of work sl 1, k 2. Repeat from * across. 2nd row: P 2, * with yarn in front sl 1, p 2. Repeat from * across. 3rd and 4th rows: With Green, k across. Repeat last 4 rows for pattern, decreasing 1 st at both ends of every 8th (10th, 10th) row 6 (5, 6) times. Work even across these 35 (40, 44) sts until length from cast-on sts is 7½ (9, 10) inches, ending with 4th pattern row, decreasing 7 (8, 8) sts evenly spaced on last row. Break off White. Change to No. 4 needles and continue with Green in k 2, p 2 ribbing across remaining 28 (32, 36) sts for 1½ (2, 2) inches. Bind off loosely in ribbing. Work other sleeve the same way.
BODY … Slip sts of one Front, Back and other Front on No. 6 needle. 1st row: With right side facing and Green, k across one Front increasing one st on sizes 2 and 6 only; cast on 6 sts, k across Back increasing one st on size 4 only, cast on 6 sts, k across other Front increasing one st on sizes 2 and 6 only. 2nd row: K across these 119 (125, 137) sts. Continue in pattern as for Sleeves until length from cast-on sts is 6½ (8½, 9½) inches, ending with 4th pattern row and decreasing 1 (3, 3) sts evenly spaced on last row. Break off White. Change to No. 4 needles and continue with Green in k 2, p 2 ribbing for 2 (2, 2½) inches. Bind off loosely in ribbing.
COLLAR … Starting at neck edge with No. 6 needles and Green, cast on 59 (62, 65) sts. K 1 row. Now work in pattern as for Sleeve for 2 (2½, 2½) inches, ending with 4th pattern row. Bind off.
BORDER … With right side facing and White, work 1 row of sc across each front edge. Break off White. With right side facing and Green, sc in each sc across. Turn. Sl st in each sc across. Break off and fasten. Omitting neck edge, work border the same way across outer edges of collar, making 3 sc in each corner.
Block to measurements. Sew sleeve seams. With White and right side facing, sc closely around neckline. Sew Collar in place. Sew in zipper.
