1 ball Sock yarn 3 ply, 3rd c. c. for center of diamond (1 oz. ball)
1 pair knitting needles each No. 1 and No. 2
1 set sock needles No. 2
1 set of yarn bobbins
2 stitch holders
1 card Nylon for heel and toe reinforcement

GAUGE: 7 sts. = 1 inch

Note: Wind 3 bobbins of M, take 4 long strands of 1st c. c., 4 bobbins of 2nd c. c., and take 2 long strands of 3rd c. c.

With M and No. 1 needles cast on 64 sts. and work back and forth in ribbing K 2, P 2 for 3 inch. Break off yarn. Change to stock, st., pattern, and No. 2 needles.
