MATERIALS: FLEISHER'S or BUCILLA IMPORTED ANGORA, 3 balls; and FLEISHER'S or BEAR BRAND "SHETLAND AND WOOL"; or BOTANY SCOTTIE "SHETLAND AND WOOL", 1 skein (2 oz.)
KNITTING NEEDLES: 1 set "Boye" Double Pointed Needles, Size 6.
GAUGE: 5 sts = 1 inch
With yarn, cast on 100 sts dividing them as follows: 32 sts on each of 2 needles and 36 sts on 3rd needle. Join being careful not to twist sts. Work k 2, p 2 ribbing for 28 rounds. Break yarn, join Angora. K plain for 17 rounds— about 2½ ins. Break Angora, join yarn. K 10 rounds. Break yarn, join Angora.
K plain for 20 rounds—about 3 ins.
First dec. round—K 2 tog. 50 times; 50 sts. K 1 round even.
2nd dec. round—K 2 tog. 25 times, 25 sts. K 1 round even.
3rd dec. round—K 2 tog. 12 times, k 1; 13 sts. K 1 round even.
4th dec. round—K 2 tog. 6 times, k 1; 7 sts.
Break Angora, leaving an end. Thread in needle and draw through the 7 sts. Draw up tightly and fasten off. Turn the 28 rows of ribbing to wrong side and sew.
