MATERIALS: FLEISHER'S or BEAR BRAND EVER-MATCH NYLON 'n WOOL GERMANTOWN KNITTING or BOTANY NO-DYE-LOT NYLON and WOOL GERMANTOWN KNITTING, 1, 2 oz. skein; or FLEISHER'S or BEAR BRAND "JIFFY" NYLON 'n WOOL or BOTANY WOOL and NYLON KNITTING WORSTED, 1, 2 oz. skein.

KNITTING NEEDLES: 1 pair "Boye" Needles, Size 9—or size you require to knit to gauge given below.

GAUGE: 9 sts = 2 inches; 13 rows = 2 inches

Cast on 3 sts for tie string.
Row 1—K 1, p 1, k 1. Repeat this row for seed st for 12 ins.
First inc. row—right side—Inc. 2 sts in each st by knitting in front, back and front of each st; 9 sts.
