Infants Rosebud Mittens Pattern #151

REQUIREMENTS:

YARN: 1-ounce of Rosebud Baby Yarn

NEEDLES: 1-pr. #3 single pointed

Cuff: Cast on 43 sts and work as follows: ROW 1: Knit 1, purl 1, repeat across row. Make 9 rows more like row 1, (seed stitch pattern). Then knit 1 row, purl 1 row for 6 rows. Beading row: * k 2 tog, yarn over, repeat from * across row ending with yarn over, k 1. Next row: Purl across row. ** Knit 1 row, purl 1 row for 6 rows; make 4 rows of seed stitch; repeat from ** until the mitten measures 4 inches in all.

Next row: Knit 2 sts together across row. Purl next row. Repeat these 2 rows once more. Break yarn leaving 10 inches. Thread a darning needle and draw through the remaining sts. Fasten tightly on wrong side of work. Sew up mitten. Make the other mitten the same way.
