MATERIALS
Three-ply fingering yarn: 1 ounce white and 1 ounce red.
Knitting needles: 1 pair No. 2; 1 set (4) double-pointed needles, No. 2.
GAUGE
8 ½ stitches = 1 inch.
With white yarn and single-pointed needles, cast on 52 stitches. Work in ribbing of knit 1, purl 1 for 3 inches. Increase 1 stitch at end of last row of ribbing. Drop white, attach red. Work in pattern as follows:
SIZES
Teen sizes (length 6 ½ inches, foot, 9 [9 ½-10] inches).
