BODY … With Pink cast on 12 sts. 1st row: K across, inc. in last st. 2nd row: Inc. in 1st st, k across remaining sts, cast on 3 sts. 3rd to 7th rows incl: Repeat 1st and 2nd rows alternately twice, then 1st row once more. 8th row: Inc. in 1st st, k across remaining sts, cast on 10 sts. 9th row: Repeat 1st row. 10th row: K across. 11th to 20th rows incl: Repeat 1st and 10th rows alternately 5 times. 21st to 30th rows incl: K across. 31st row: Bind off 13 sts, k remaining sts. 32nd to 42nd rows incl: K across, casting on 13 sts at end of 42nd row. 43rd to 64th rows incl: K across. 65th row: Bind off 18 sts, k remaining sts. 66th row: K 2 tog, k across remaining sts. 67th row: Inc. in 1st st, k remaining sts. 68th row: K across. 69th row: Inc. in 1st st, k to within last 2 sts, k 2 tog. 70th to 77th rows incl: Repeat 68th, 67th, 66th, 67th, 68th, 69th, 68th and 69th rows respectively. 78th row: K 2 tog, k across, inc. in last st. 79th to 83rd rows incl: Repeat 69th and 78th rows alternately twice, then the 69th row once more. 84th row: Bind off 2 sts, k across, inc. in last st. 85th, 86th and 87th rows: Repeat 69th, 84th and 69th rows. 88th row: Bind off 10 sts, k across remaining sts. 89th to 92nd rows incl: Repeat 69th and 78th rows alternately twice. 93rd row: K across. EARS (Make 2) … With double strand of Blue cast on 18 sts. 1st row: K across. 2nd row: K 2 tog, k across, inc. in last st. 3rd row: Inc. in 1st st, k remaining sts. 4th to 7th rows incl: Repeat 2nd and 3rd rows alternately. 8th row: K 2 tog, k across. 9th row: K across. 10th to 13th rows incl: Repeat 8th and 9th rows alternately. 14th row: K 2 tog, k to within last 2 sts, k 2 tog. 15th row: K 2 tog, k remaining sts. 16th to 19th rows incl: Repeat 14th and 15th rows alternately. 20th row: K across. Bind off.

Fasten body pieces together with a row of Pink s c through both thicknesses; stuff with Kapok before completing s c. Sew cast-on sts of ear to body. For tail, braid 6 short lengths of Blue for 2 inches; knot and trim end. Sew on tail. With Blue embroider eyes in satin st. Tack trunk to curve upward.
