With size 10 needles and A, cast on 161 sts.

Pattern-Row 1—K 1, p 159, k 1. Row 2—K 1, * yo, k 2, slip, k 2 tog., pass (pass sl st over the k 2 tog), k 2, yo, k 1; repeat from * 19 times. Row 3— Same as row 1. Row 4—K 2, yo, k 1, slip, k 2 tog., pass, k 1, yo; * k 3, yo, k 1, slip, k 2 tog., pass, k 1, yo; repeat from * 18 times; k last 2 sts. Row 5— Same as row 1. Row 6—K 3, yo, slip, k 2 tog., pass; * yo, k 5, yo, slip, k 2 tog., pass; repeat from * 18 times; yo, k 3.
