Cast on 15 sts. 1st row: K across. 2nd row: K 4, O, k 2 tog., O, k 2 tog., k 2, (O, k 1) 4 times, k 1. 3rd row: K 1, p 15, k 3. 4th row: K 5, O, k 2 tog., O, k 2 tog., k 1, (O, k 2 tog.) 4 times, k 1. 5th row: Repeat 3rd row.

Starting at short end, cast on 15 sts. 1st row: K 2, O, k 2 tog., O, k 2 tog., k 8, O, k 1, turn. 2nd and all even rows—10th row incl: P across, turn. 3rd row: K 2, O, k 2 tog., O, k 2 tog., k 7, O, k 2 tog., O, k 1, turn. 5th row: K 2, O, k 2 tog., O, k 2 tog., k 6, O, k 2 tog., O, k 2 tog., O, k 1, turn.
