Jack Frost Featherweight Floss 2 Fold—9 1-oz. Balls

BACK: With No. 3 Needles cast on 120 sts. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 2½ in., then work in pattern as given for Cardigan No. 5212 until piece measures 14½ in. from lower edge. Bind off 6 sts at beginning of each of next 2 rows for underarm; decrease 1 st at each end every other row 6 times. Work even until piece measures 6½ in. from underarm. Bind off 8 sts at beginning of each of next 8 rows for shoulders. Change to No. 2 Needles increasing to 39 sts. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 8 rows. Bind off.

FRONT: Work same as given for back until piece measures 5 in. from underarm. Work over the first 38 sts; place on st-holder. Bind off next 20 sts for front of neck. On remaining 38 sts, work 2 rows even; decrease 1 st at neck edge every other row 6 times. Work even until piece measures 6½ in. from underarm. Starting at shoulder edge, bind off 8 sts every other row 4 times. Work other side to correspond.

FRONT NECKBAND: With No. 2 Needles on right side of garment, pick up 75 sts from shoulder to shoulder. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 8 rows. Bind off.

Sew shoulder and underarm seams.

SLEEVES: Work as given for Cardigan Pattern.

Sew sleeve seams. Sew sleeves in place.
