Materials: This simple design for a knitted spread may be developed in Gem Knitting and Crochet Cotton, although Star Crochet Cord, or De Luxe Knitting and Crochet Cotton are equally effective. Use 2 straight steel knitting needles No. 0.

Materials: This attractive knitted design should be made of Star Crochet Cord and a set of 5 steel knitting needles No. 14. De Luxe or Gem Crochet and Knitting Cotton also make a lovely spread. These are 2 sections on each needle. The directions are for 1 needle, and are to be repeated on the other 3. Cast on 2 sts on each of 4 needles.
Materials: Many lovely threads may be used for this spread, such as Star Crochet Cord, De Luxe or Gem Crochet and Knitting Cotton, and with these, use a set of 5 steel knitting needles No. 11. As these threads come in many lovely tones, a color to harmonize with the color scheme would be different and unusual.
