Shoulderette Pattern

MATERIALS REQUIRED
American Thread Company "Dawn" Pompadour Yarn.
3 Balls White
1 Ball Baby Blue, Pink or Baby Pastels.
1 Pr. Steel Knitting Needles #1

With White, cast on 46 sts, and work cuff in ribbing of K 2, P 2, working 2 rows White, 2 rows Color, 4 rows White, 2 rows Color, 3 rows White.
Next Row. Knit and increase in every other st (69 sts).
Next Row. Begin pattern. 1st row—K 1, P 1, K 1, P 1, K 1, (seed st.) K 2 together, * yarn over, K 1, yarn over, K 2 together, K 1, K 2 together, repeat from * 8 times, yarn over, K 1, yarn over, K 2 together and work last 5 sts in seed st.
2nd Row. Seed st the 1st and last 5 sts and Purl across row. Repeat these two rows for 18 inches. Next row decrease to 46 sts and work cuff to correspond.
Seam cuffs and finish with ribbon and rosebuds as illustrated .
The shoulderette may be made of "Dawn" Shetland Floss or "Dawn" Saxony Yarn.
