Materials Required: AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" KNITTING WORSTED, Article W 11.

2-1¼ oz. Skeins White.
1 pr. Bone Knitting Needles No. 7.

Gauge: 4 sts = 1 inch; 7 rows = 1 inch.

Cast on 110 sts and work 3 rows of ribbing, (K 2, P2).
Next Row. * K 1, K 2 tog, yarn over, repeat from * across row ending row with K 2.
Next Row. * K 2, P 2, repeat from * across row, then work 2 more rows of ribbing.
Next Row. K across row decreasing 1 st at end of row.
The remainder of soaker is made in seed st of * K 1, P 1, repeat from * to end of row decreasing 1 st at end of row.
Next Row. P 1, K 1 across row decreasing 1 st at end of row.
Continue in same manner decreasing 1 st at end of each row, keeping pattern straight until 1 st remains, break yarn. Press under a damp cloth. Sew waistband seam, then sew each side for about 5 inches.

CORD: Take 2 3½ yard lengths of yarn, twist both ends, fold in half, hold both ends letting it twist itself. Knot one end for a 1 inch tassel, lace through beading, then knot other end.
