EMBROIDERY … With a basting stitch, mark off a triangle just inside moss stitch border on each Front. Split Embroidery Floss and use 4 strands. With Blue, work straight vertical stitches, separated by one stitch of knitting, within bounds of triangle. Then work horizontal straight stitches over the vertical stitches, thus making crossbar effect. With Pink, embroider a small cross stitch over intersection of each crossbar. Use two 18-inch pieces of ribbon; loop the ends and sew on as in illustration.
