MATERIALS:
CHADWICK'S RED HEART BABY WOOL, 3 balls (1 oz. balls) for size 2; 4 balls for size 3.
Milward's Phantom Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 2 (2¾ mm. size) and 1 pair No. 4 (3½ mm. size).
6 buttons.

GAUGE: 7½ sts make 1 inch; 10 rows make 1 inch.

SLEEVES With right side facing, using No. 4 needles, pick up along outer edge, between markers

NECK BAND With right side facing, using No. 2 needles, pick up 90 sts around neck edge. Work in ribbing of k 2, p 2, for ¼ inch. Make a buttonhole in line with previous buttonholes. Work straight until band is ¾ inch wide. Bind off in ribbing.

POCKET LININGS Slip sts from safety pin onto No. 4 needles, attach yarn and work in stockinette stitch for 2¼ inches. Bind off.

Sew up underarm and sleeves in one continuous seam. Sew on buttons. Sew pocket lining in place on wrong side, bringing bottom of pocket to top of ribbing. Press through damp cloth.
