CHADWICK'S RED HEART BABY WOOL, 5 balls (1 oz. balls) for size 2 or size 3.
Milward's Phantom Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 3 (3 mm. size).
½ yd. elastic.
2 buttons.

GAUGE: Pullover—7½ sts make 1 inch; 11 rows make 1 inch, Pants—8 sts make 1 inch; 11 rows make 1 inch.

Starting at the top, sew front and back seams of pants to within 2 inches above ribbing. Sew in crotch, having points at center front and back seams. Sew up leg seams. Turn down hem on wrong side and whip to ridge, leaving an opening to insert elastic. Draw elastic through, adjust to fit, and sew ends together. Press through damp cloth.
