Warmer climates beckon and now we find our lady of fashion on the Miami Golf Course (after a brief stay at Pinehurst, N.C. where she won a trophy).  She is wearing a two-piece suit, skirt and jacket and if you notice the jacket buttons down the front and has short sleeves that give plenty of elbow room for that stance and swing. Julianna has decided on a little skiing at Sun Valley and is wearing this very smart Ski Suit and cap to match. The vest carries out the Norwegian motif and adds a dash of color. The wrists and ankles are snug fitting and the cap is snug fitting so it won't blow off while she is doing a Christiana down the mountainside.

Goldilocks (and her Mother) have decided up on a tour of the U.S.A. (which is really the thing to do this season) so she wears a Princess line dress, just like her mother's, to go shopping for the yearn for the rest of her wardrobe. Princess dress has a Sailor collar with a red, white and blue trim and a Beanie to match. The dress fastens with tiny buttons up the front and will be just the thing to wear on the train when she makes up her mind JUST where she is going.

Gauge

8 sts to 1 inch. (Measure garment on doll as you make it).

DRESS

Simplified multi-color knitting with color charts. Stitch sequences numbered. Each row knitted across and purled back in the same colors.

INSTRUCTIONS—Knit the graph twice for the cap and pink face (head cover). The 2 flat pieces are then sewed together to form cap and front and rear of Santa's head. (Of course omit eyes etc., when knitting rear piece.)

IMPORTANT—Knit across and purl back EACH ROW before starting next row. (Each row shown thus represents 2 rows of usual knitting). Use size #2 needles.
